SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Teach male youth from ages 7-17.  Work to develop curriculum, construct lesson, and individual education plans for youth with severe emotional disturbances. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

Clear teacher credential.  Ability to write and communicate clearly and professionally.   Ability to work independently and as a team member. Basic computer skills (word processing, Word, Excel etc.).  Will consider emergency credential. 

DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS: 

Severe or Limited handicap credential.  Prior experience teaching.  Prior experience working with SED adolescents.

Depending on education and experience.
