CHILD CARE COUNSELOR
PM Shifts / Overnight Shifts

Educate and supervise youth in home and/or school environment providing a positive and effective environment for implementation of all components of the emotional growth program. Requires ability to comprehend, respond, mentor and communicate appropriately in a therapeutic community, ability to care for, engage and understand troubled youth, and ability oversee program in the milieu. Education and/or experience in the field preferred. Ability to pass all agency requirements re licensing, training and safety, including ProAct and First Aid/CPR, and driving ability (nondrivers temporarily approved only when ability to service program needs of youth is not copromised).

Assume all responsibilities of Child Care Counselor in addition to overseeing and assuring that all house recordkeeping and reporting requirements are efficiently and accurately maintained. This position is also looked to as a lead counselor who understands program structure and requirements . The FM will lead staff, when necessary under the direction of the Program Specialist, and train new staff to assure program consistency is carried out. In addition to all agency requirements listed above, the RM requires education and/or experience in the field in addition to demonstrated understanding and knowledge of NH policy and procedures.

TBS COACHES

Help youth reach targeted behavioral goals by working one on one with youth and/or their families. These positions may be located off-site, require considerable driving and scheduling flexibility. Hours vary based on individual case requirements. Set weekly superision meetings required in addition to caseload. Requires BA in field, demonstrated skills in working with youth and good clinical writing skills. Great opportunity for interns and/or behavioral science students.

TBS LEAD COACH
Vista based

Salary Rate: FT - Exempt Position
Mid $30's DOE

Provide administrative support to TBS program by training new coaches and auditing documentation of client data. May assist with providing relief responsibilities as needed. Position must meet responisibilities of coach position plus demonstrate the ability to attend to detail and the ability to understand, oversee, and train others in a professional and complex work environment.

SPECIAL ED TEACHER

Develop and provide effective individualized, instruction while supporting NH's treatment program in a non-public, year-around school environment. Must hold a valid CA "fully qualified:", Special ED Credential (Mild/Moderate), experience with the IEP process, with several years of successful teaching experience preferred. Special Ed Internship considered only if a qualified, fully credentialed candidate is not available.

(YouthBuild Program)

This is an opportunity to assist in a the classroom in addition to developing the construction skills of our youth. As the assistant, you will use your supervision skills to support the YouthBuild training and provide a.m. support in a home before school and during school recesses in the group home environment.

This requires the ability to oversee and assist with hands-on construction projects both in terms of design and delivery. Construction and/or "handyman" knowledge or carpentry related experiences are required (formally trained and/or experience-based). The ability to connect and appropriately engage with our population is critical. A BA degree is preferred, particularly in a Behavioral Science field.
