Connecting
Youth to Productive Careers in the Construction Trades
What is YouthBuild?
YouthBuild is a comprehensive job training, education,
and leadership development program for young men and
women who have no apparent path to a productive future.
Unemployed, underemployed and undereducated young people
ages 15 to 19 work toward their high school diploma
while learning job skills by building affordable housing
for homeless and low-income citizens. Strong emphasis
is placed on leadership development and community service.
Most importantly, YouthBuild challenges young
men and women to achieve their goals by contributing
positively to their communities.
