Our
Purpose . . .
is to provide intensive and individualized educational
services to children identified
as severely emotionally disturbed.
Our Program
. . .
is certified
by the State Department of Education and our teachers
have experience and credentials in special education.
Each students learning is outlined in their unique Individualized
Educational Plan (IEP) developed in concert with parents,
school district representatives, teachers, residential
staff, social workers and the student. Services include:

Education in all basic academic subjects

Integrated academic and therapeutic program

Vocational assessment and education

Computer literacy instruction

Social skill development

Physical education with emphasis on teamwork

Substance abuse prevention

Family life classes

Language and speech therapy

Our School . . .
has six classrooms with a maximum of 12 students in
each one. Each classroom has a teacher and an aide
to provide individualized attention in academics and
behavior.
Our Population . . .
are boys, ages 12-18, who are living in our Residential
Treatment program or are students who live with their
families but require the support and structure of
a nonpublic school. Typical challenges that our students
face include hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder,
conduct disorder and other learning or emotional problems.
