Short-Term Residential Treatment

New Haven’s newest project is serving older adolescent youth aged 17-19 in San Diego County. We provide intensive psychiatric care for youth in trauma, daily group therapy, substance abuse intervention, intensive individual therapy, life skills development, and individualized educational programs.

Last year, we refurbished the inside of the Meadowlake House in Vista to accommodate six young men on a full-time basis. Many of these young men have been part of the foster system, often forgotten as they age-out and suffering from multiple traumas.

Just like the young men we serve, The Coming Home Project still has work to do. We need the outside of the home to match the beauty, warmth, and safety of the inside. We are seeking funds to provide landscaping, a healing garden, barbeque gathering area and a sports court – all necessary items to nurture their souls and launch these young men into a successful life.
